Fantástica comida tradicional alentejana mas com um toque de Chef. Boa seleção de vinhos e excelente equipe e ambiente.

The restaurant staff was very friendly and flexible in allowing us to get in with our dog. The food was very nice and the atmosphere is great. Definitely a place to go back!

Visitei aqui há 2 dias, na rua 21 de setembro, fomos os primeiros a chegar lá. Foi servido por uma jovem muito simpática e muito prestativa. Estava então ocupado com apenas 2 mesas vazias. Os proprietários visitavam todas as outras mesas para conversar, mas nem olhavam para nós e passavam muitas vezes pela nossa mesa. Foi uma refeição adorável, um pouco cara. Não tive escolha de batatas ou batatas fritas, mas recebi batatas fritas.

Spectacular mom pop alentejano dinner. Ask for a jarro of house wine and get delighted with fresh olives apetizer and house bread. Our favorite, almeijoas, a kind of tiny mussels, seasoned at perfection. Worth to try, camaroes grelhados (grilled shrimps) and sardinhas (grilled sardines).

Its a typical Alentejo restaurante, the food was proper as most of the restaurants in the area, based on pork grilled meat , “migas” etc, the portions were generous meaning that 1 portion was enough for 2 people (average eaters). The downside was the waiting . We were a family of 7 and we had a baby. We waited almost 1 hour for our meal to arrive to the table. The restaurant is big with a lot of covers, my feeling was that the kitchen was not enough for so many eaters. The place is a very nice typical old adega. With nice atmosphere.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant 3 times now and it has been consistently good. Great atmosphere, food and wine.
