I went to this restaurant on a Sunday, with my wife and children reserved the table for we arrived on time and ordered. the food lasted exactly hours and minutes to come, more than an hour and yet. came a table near us around pm and received before us. not only that that was really, really bad. I ordered picanha and got a terrible meat, full of nerves, very, very bad. this restaurant was by far my WORST experience in portugal. if they think, please don't try.
very good Portuguese eating, beautiful wine list and a good service. they prefer to make a reservation, especially at weekends.
from many years to today arcoense is the great braga restaurante. you will find the real local cuisine, all classic large dishes from the province minho are there with a lot of quality. do not miss the fabulous desserts of clara!!! they are excellent. more perfect. friendly service. very good wine options. right prices.
The food is nothing special, you might find the same quality of food in a normal Portuguese restaurant. High prices for de value
Already tested many times always the best cooking “family” Portuguese style. Owner is pure Portuguese cooker he listen your expectations very well but speak English slowly to be well understood Beef, Octopus, Fishs all are recommended ask only the cooking style you want. Food from...local market except vegetables from owner garden ! Try also Cheese “de la Serra” wonderful taste experience... Prices are smooth considering the freshness of all dishes. Oliviersig
The stuff is friendly but somewhat arrogant. Nice decor. The food leaves much to be desired and is very far from fine dining We had octopus as a main dish and it was unfortunately stiff. As a starter we ordered fried squid and it was...simply not edible (tasted like old multiple time used frying oil). Don't recommend it.
The restaurant is out of the average in terms of cost, but it's also far way of the average in terms of quality. Very good quality. I recommend the cod fish.
