As Velhas em Lisbon

Without any doubt one of the best restaurants in Lisbon (if not the best). The food was amazing, the service was exceptional, the experience was unique.

Best food in Lisbon, hands down. Incredible atmosphere, homey feel, super friendly staff, and the owner (the most incredibly polite and friendly woman) actually remembered one of my colleagues from a few years back!! Absolutely brilliant experience!!

Very tasty food, wide variety of good vines, multilingual, friendly staff. Customer in focus. You will feel yourself here as dining at your lovely grandma or uncle :

Our first dinner in Portugal and it didn’t disappoint. The steak in coffee sauce was FABULOUS. The owner is so friendly and nice. Great experience.

Everything was delicious. The owner prepared a special dish for me that I remembered that was no longer on the menu. (Hake w/clams, Shrimp, shrooms other veggies in a Cataplana My husband had monkfish cooked w/clams, served w/boiled potatoes. We split a salad, then shared a piece of an amazing flourless chocolate torte w/ganache topping for dessert. The service was very attentive, polite efficient. We always try to have at least one dinner here when we're in Lisbon. This one's a keeper!!

the waiters were very friendly and great hosts. eating looked, melted and tasted amazing. very hospitable with the famous ginjinha to finish the evening.
