Azores Spot Pizzaria em Ribeira Grande

Carlos and his team were amazing hosts to myself amd my (7) American friends. Their explanation of the extensive menu, delicious dishes and wonderful ambience make this place top notch. The pizza was very thin crust delicious, sweet sauce and fresh toppings. My friends ordered meat, chicken and salads the beer and liquor were fantastic!

I had lunch here and was the only person in the restaurant so service wasn’t an issue. I ordered the limpets for a starter and was not very impressed. If I hadn’t had them at another restaurant I may never had known but these were very gritty and fishy. Luckily the lava stew that I ordered was very good. Lots of fish only one shrimp but it was still tasty. Prices were on point with other restaurants I’ve been to one the island.

This restaurant is not fancy in decoration or style but it’s fancy for the panoramic view and for its fresh and well grilled fish. I had a great meal overlooking the ocean and the beaches. For sure I’ll repeat the experience. Enjoy!

Stopped here on several occasions heading back into Porto delgarda. Lovely friendly people, ice cold beer (only 2.50 euro's for a big one) and a great view of the ocean. Didn't try the food but as a place to chill out for half an hour it's top notch.

This was the most delicious fish stew I have every had. I was surprised when it was served with a plate and requested a bowl. A ladle to serve with instead of having to pour it out would have been nice. Enjoy with the hearty bread! Not sure of the cost as our small group was with a guide and seating was prearranged.

The only kind of positive thing is the location and the view. The service is terrible. We almost left because the waitress was extremly ignorant and annoyed by us. As if we disturbed her. Strange... Food was not the best but okay. But the whole visit was not worth another thought.

Nice place with a decent view. Obviously a little expensive due to the location. My only advice is to order the Volcano Fish Stew.. It really is delicious and good to share for 2. You wont be disappointed

My wife and I had taken the San Miguel Hop On, Hop Off bus in San Miguel and decided to take a two hour break at Ribeira Grande. We made our way to the Lido and decided to stop for a coffee there. The best part of the experience is the view from the café balcony. The coffee and the service were satisfactory without being outstanding.
