Casa Algarvia em Lagoa

Fantastic food brilliant staff.

We have been coming here as a family for many years. We came for the first time in the winter last night, for my granny’s birthday. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly, chatting away to us. Our food was lovely, lots of fresh fish. We all really enjoyed our dessert of chocolate mousse and a almond tart (I think). They wrote a special birthday message on my granny’s dessert without us asking, and gave it to us on the house as a birthday treat! We relaxed, enjoyed and ate delicious food. Felt like we were at home!

This was the best steak i have ever eaten and also the best tiramisu i ever ate!!! Absolute reccomendation for everyone who loved good food. Try the filet on the hot stone, it was just awesome!

The restaurant is quite centrally located and does not have too many seats inside. There is also a small terrace with about tables. The food is acceptable. There is Portuguese cuisine. The fish is quite fresh. I had the stockfish from the oven. It tasted like...oil. A bit more seasoning would have been good. I would give it a out of I have eaten better.

eating was absolutely spectacular, the filet steak stone had so delicate and great experience to cook itself. the personal was really attentive and friendly!

we love this restaurant. great food, great value and absolutely first class service. christina, ivo, maicon and the team have a wonderful rapport with their customers and this all means a casual and pleasant night out. the lamming frame is to die, but all their main dishes are excellent.
