the restaurant claims, “cozinha portuguesa de autor”. eating is terrible. many industrial causes. not tasteful. not well done. they have no single decent red wine. Service average. at least it wasn't expensive.
this charming restaurant is located in the historic streets of mondim de basto, but is certainly worth visiting. we found it by chance and were thrilled by the friendly staff, original decoration and delicious food and wine. and the price was also a beautiful surprise!
our nice touring host ricardo from oporto tours mountain brought us to this little gem for dinner after a spectacular day, which was on the whole porto and the Douro valley. once through the entrance and turned around, it is as if they were the doors of. have closed the magic cabinet in narnia. but it will be better because the couple that leads this place are so warm, welcoming and friendly. and it will be better again because this talented duo wonderful, delicious dishes with local ingredients that prepare them lovingly. our whole evening with our new family was really a big highlight for all of us and we will be very happy to remember and talk about many years.
leave them in the hand of the cook and enjoy the magic mysteries tour of seasonal little tellers that come until they can no longer eat. really nice room and welcoming host.
