natario just does a few things, but she doo them masterfully. they sell traditional Portuguese sweet pastries and port. they will see year old bottles, in a wonderful collection. the star of the show...Bolos do berlim. a kind of fluffy donut, filled with. zimt and sugar. others do well, but natario has mastered them. twice a day, the people in the street row to repair them. I've seen people waiting for bolos. I have never seen such a devotion. my lawyer in Iissabon, she longs and it's the first thing she wants in viana. this is a stylish, long place where they can have a wonderful, simple experience for a very reasonable amount.
old-fashioned (good) baked. traditional, excellent quality bakery. they should try all traditional cakes. and trust me, you can't stop after you started. try them “cavacas” and “bolas de Berlim”. fabulous, delicious and unforgettable.
one of the best bolas de berlim' I've ever eaten. I didn't eat inside. the waiting line usually goes outside.
natario has become famous for her berliner, the Brazilian writer jorge amado turned into a phenomenal. nowadays, the line is always so big that natives like me can only get one bite in the next season, but still very worth it. the best berliners. I've ever eaten, stalls down and too good to go.
This should be a mandatory stop if you are in Viana do Castelo. The bola de berlim is just delicious. This is a typical portuguese pastry (probably originating from the Berliner Pfannkuchen) that you can find all over the country. But, in this place, they...are particularly good. So, head over there and get a couple of them, along with some húngaros and maybe some Bola de carne (this is NOT a dessert, so it's probably better to have it for lunch or even a heavy-ish afternoon snack).
For sure the best bola de Berlim in the world . The different is that they are always fresh and it comes it cinnamon on top. DELICIOUS
It is one of the most famous places in the country, due to their “Bola de Berlim”. It lives up to its fame as the “Bola” is indeed one of the best.
The famous vanilla cream berliners are tasty (if you enjoy sweet cakes) but waiting in line for minutes to buy them is crazy. We found them best when they where newly baked and still warm later same day not at all as good....As a visitor they where good but if I lived in the town I would soon get tired of them.
