Kalux Restaurante em PROVENÇA

Taken there by local business colleagues for lunch. Great setting and was told to have local Black pork. I would have preferred the fish but it was good. Locals drink small bottled beer but more of them. Reason is they stay cold better or maybe they don't stay long enough.Busy and cheap well worth it!

We ate inside, great food and lovely friendly staff. However loads of flies around the table over the dishes and drinks, only negative point to tell.

Fantastic place to sit and eat. No luxury, but instead really friendly people, relaxed atmosphere and great food. We had a mixed tosta which was delicious. If you pass there, stop for coffee and some food.

Excellent desserts, seafood and location for surfing: a great spot! Personnel very kind and large parking lot.

Huge plate of the day for 5€ complete with salad and fries. Tasty tosties too, made with nan-like bread. Chill spot to be hanging out with friendly wait staff.

We ate outside. It is self-service. Everything is in plastic. The cheese-toasts were not good at all.Inside the restaurant the food is maybe better.

Kalux is a well located restaurant, just by the beach of São Torpes, with a cool surfer's environment. It is great for a nice cold beer during sunset of a hot summer day.Food is well done and tasty. The service is the only minus, employees are polite but not very experience and when the house is full (almost every summer days) service is slow. Payment with card is possible but takes long time. There is only one machine for the inside restaurant and the esplanade, which serves tasty finger food, and is usually more full than the restaurant, so you have to go outside to a line to pay (by card).I recommend except in July - August.

Great place in Litoral Alentejano. Nice location on Sao Torpes beach, you or your children can learn surf with Kalux, the boss of this place. Food, environment and staff excelent!
