Manteigaria em Lisbon

Hands down the best Pastéis in Lisbon! And I did check a few of them. And you can not eat just one.. A must try while in Lisbon!

I tried different pastel de nata’s during my stay days. in my opnion is belém great, but a little overestimated (basic custard and her crust is not really my ding). the manteigaria are my personal favorite. the crippled tastes like vanilla. with a small hauch lemon. Sweet is perfectly balanced. even if the crust is not as crusty as the pastel de nata from confeitaria nacional (I also went there), this is my pastel de nata’s from manteigaria has only the whole package! the personal is friendly. you can also see the production process in the load. would have recommended def!

the “Pastéis de Nata” species filled with ice custard. are an essential part of the visit to Iissabon. if they have not had this delicate thing during a trip to the capital portugals, they cannot remember that they have actually been there. Although...the pastéis de nata can be found on so many places in lisbon, there are those that are special and better than others. it is considered by the natives the best place for the pastéis de nata. the place is small and is always full, but the service is fast and good. I recommend to them that they zimt their pastel de nata, served with coffee or with liqueur. they can also order the pastéis that I recommend how they want to eat them again (and again). they can see how the pastéis de nata is prepared as their kitchen is open. they are handmade and it is a beautiful process.

I think they have the best pastis de nata that I have eaten during my trip in lissabon. the custard was delicious (not too sweet, not too spicy) and the crust was perfect for my taste.

after the attempt of a Custard pie from a series of places these were the best. so much, we came back every day we were in lisbon!

we went to this one and the one in belem but no way this were the best ones, freaking gorgeous. also very cute the tables outside where to drink a good coffee while enjoying the people in rua augusta

We had coffee and the most exquisite traditional custard pastries here while on a break in Lisbon. They were so nice we even took some back home with us.

This was the best Portuguese tart I have ever eaten and probably will ever eat (until I went back later that same day). Would potentially consider it as a contender for dessert for my death row meal.
