it is a beautiful location and a beautiful largo to enjoy a meal in the sunshine. the staff was friendly and very attentive. we had ordered a seafood rice for two. it was absolutely and completely tasteless. it must be an art to train. how to taste every taste. at a price of two we expected much better.

never had such a tasteless and handed over piece fish and also expensive. service was bad, as well as ambiente.

large suppe and entree, but the main of the kalbs was poor. good service nice wine and good staff. but kalb was too hard. beautiful ambiente.

the lobster was really stinking. the only reason why I give two stars instead of one is that the waiter immediately withdraws and serves a fresh without discount.

Too expensive for average food… The sauce is just melted butter. It was the poorest dinner we had in Lisbon. However, the wine was good.

We made an reservation and asked for a table next to the window. We even checked in at to confirm. When we arrived, they acted like they had never see us before. We were seated at an inside table. They took our order...of a Ceasar salad and Seafood Rice for two (supposedly their specialty). We waited minutes for the Caesar salad to arrive. No one even checked on our table for minutes. The manager Roger, sensing our displeasure, finally tried to bring some bread and olives after minutes but at that point, it was unnecessary. All the tables around us who came after us all had entrees before even our salad came. When our salad did finally come, it was just some chopped lettuce and chicken (it didn’t say chicken Caesar on the menu). About minutes later a waiter came to the table to ask us if he could clear the table for the entree. Even though there was salad left in the bowl, we said yes thinking our food was on its way. The waiter took the salad and we waited another minutes for the entree! The entree (Seafood Rice for two was supposedly a specialty. The seafood was some large and small prawns and four mussels in a tasteless broth. The seafood was completely over cooked and the rice was completely undercooked. During the meal, no one came to check on us or offer us more wine or any food. After waiting another minutes, I finally I asked for the check. The manager noticed the uneaten food and that we were not happy and asked if everything was OK. I told him that this was the worst meal I had in my two weeks in Portugal. He tried to offer us a complimentary glass of port but we declined. All the customers in the restaurant were tourists (no locals) and the prices were the most expensive (huge red flag but the person who recommended the place insisted it was good). It was a tourist trap. It was the second worst experience I had had, traveling, topped only by an awful restaurant in Athens, Greece. We were referred here by someone who suggested it as a great seafood restaurant. It was a tourist trap. Don’t let it ruin your last day in Portugal like it did mine.

Reservation was made in person the evening before for a specific table time with Roger. We arrived and no table. Waited min. It took min to get a Caesar salad. And it wasn’t a Caesar salad. Chef’s specialty ..Seafood rice dish NOT GOOD. Rice undercooked, shrimp/lobster overcooked Service inattentive

Absolutely delicious seafood in lovely surroundings. We found this place whilst wandering and were pleased they could fit us in. The soup was very good and the seafood for was tasty and novel to us. The service was friendly and helpful. We loved it...all.
