This 50 year old restaurant was a short walk from where we were staying but was closed for staff holiday for virtually the whole of our visit. Luckily it opened in time for the last night of our holiday. The decor is plain, a bit like a staff canteen rather than a restaurant. We decided to order small plates of all the things we fancied rather than a platter. So we had oysters, local white prawns, larger prawns, clams and tiger prawns. We have never tasted food like it. This is by far the best meal I have ever had. The seafood was spectacular. It was the closest we have got to a spiritual experience while eating. Go….. You will not be disappointed!!

Been there with wife and daughter. We spent 4 nights at the Coxos beach appartments and the resto is just in front of those...so made a reservation...which I would recommend as this place was fully booked on a Friday evening. Asked for some assistance with the menu/prices whereafter we 've chosen the special mixed seafood platter...an 8 item seafood course with 2 hot 'appetizers ': mussels& shells in a garlic koriander finish and grilled gambas. A platter of crab, crab salad and seafood stuff completed our order. Food was extremely fresh and tastefull. Not cheap but price vs quality OK. The white wine suggestion was a delight a Portuguese one which listens to the name of Lagoalva. The service was friendly. So why not a 5 star...because the resto puts appetizers when you 're seated on the table which come at a cost without any notification...this is lousy practice to me. Conclusion: book a table when in the neightbourhood but inform yourself about the food/menu options.

I was here for Easter lunch. Delicious seafood for a very reasonable price, great quantities. The seafood rice was also delicious. Very busy, I recommend a reservation in advance.

Amazing food and Service! We‘ve eaten the best octopus and squids ever. Also, Nuno offered us a great Port Wine! We can highly recommend this place! Will definitely come back again :

The place is cold and poorly decorated, feels like eating in a school cafeteria. Prices are high for average seafood. The staff is nice but trying to push a little too much.

You can tell this place is going to be good by the fact that it is full of locals on a Tuesday evening. Super friendly and professional service, amazing sunset views but more importantly some of the best seafood in town and for the portion sizes very reasonably priced. Plus felt super covid safe. We will be back.

My favourite seafood restaurant in the Ericeira and Ribamar area. The service is very nice and the food just speaks for itself. I Recommend Mariscada Clássica and ask for some white wines, they have a great selection, as well as digestives (whisky and aguardente). The price is perfectly reasonable.

Nuno who is the owner of this place is the most friendly and service minded person we have met around here! The food is of the best quality and the service extremely friendly and good. A MUST visit!
