All the food was amazing, from the starters to the deserts. A great praise to the griller that was grilling the meat on the charcoal to perfection under a burning hot sun at 37 degrees. This is definitely a place for meat lovers. All the mushroom-based entries were very good. Ask for the grilled bread with delicious olive oil from the region. The meat is locally sourced and of great quality. All the veal meat (Mirandesa breed) was melt-in-your-mouth grilled to perfection (rodião and laurel skewers) as well as the lamb. We asked for every desert on the menu, and they were all great too. Our favourites were the cheese and marmalade platter, the coconut panacotta, lemon mousse and orange torte. All the staff is very nice, friendly and attentive to all the dinners and their requests. They were always ready to answer our questions and give you tips for things to do around the area. All in all, a recipe for success: great food served by great people. Be sure to book in advance! The restaurant has an outdoor pet-friendly dining area.
