The best francesinha I've eaten so far. The people is from Porto, so rest assured it will be an original one. They speak very fluent Spanish, which is a plus!

I'm so glad I found this little cafe/bar. I'll go to lunch every day. it is located directly behind the restaurants and shops on the main tourist road in a small courtyard with seat in the sun and shadow. the mother and daughter raquel and Mary who own it are so friendly and helpful. it is the best in the opposite. for a large estrella (better than sagres or superbock) and for a liter sangria (buy get free! they make food specialties in the north portugals and fantastic toasties. Give me that. they will not be disappointed

Down a shady passageway and at the end of an open courtyard you'll find Pronuncia Do Norte. We were a party of four and had steak on bread, Misto (ham and cheese) and both the half and full Francesinhas. Everything was good and tasty. The...coffee after lunch was terrific. Can't beat the prices. The owner and staff were very friendly and solicitous, seemingly genuinely concerned that we were enjoying our food and even going so far as to offer advice on dinner options in another town.

A light lunch with my wife, prego no pão for her and francesinha for me. Regular prego (beef steak with bread) and a very nice francesinha (look it up). Frozen chips but a quite nice francesinha with all the needed trimmings. In all Very Good!
