This restaurant is situated right in from of the "capela" and with a ocean view.There is no view like this one I can tell you that. If you are lucky enough to get a front table in the sunset time you will be amazed.In terms of food, the restaurant provides you with a variety of Traditional dishes and also some other specialties. "Caldeirada", and "Bacalhau" are typical and outstanding here. But you'll also find great grilled fish and meat.Overall the food is great for the price you pay as well as location. There is also a good chicken barbecue that is one of the fastest and simplest dishes you can ask, even to take away.You may expect that this is not a fancy restaurant. Not at all. There is another experience here. This Is a typical restaurant with a good selection of wines and a good and honest selection of typical foods. I find it to be a place where you go with time to enjoy a little of the local culture. It is not a place to go if you're in a hurry. Expect to spend 1:30 hours or more.I've been there several times and may say that it is better in the spring or fall. Summer time it is always full and service may not be as fast or as good as normal. Food quality remains equally good along the year. But service may be slower and not so careful when the rooms are completely full.I hope you find this review useful.

Amazing food. Fresh fish, seafood and meat. Loved the seabass we had. It tasted like the ocean. we will return in the future.
