Restaurante Mexicano Taco Y Tequilla em Faro

after some time there were men wearing Mexican hats (sombrero.) was funny

the best place in faro. the waitress was veggie and gave great recommendations. when they go here they have to try the since then fajitas, I don't know what they put in them, but the aromen were from this world. tacos and guac to start and frozen margarita was also incredible.

this place had a great atmosphere, even if we ask for vegan tacos in the november (off-peak.) they will do a selection of mushrooms, strip and veggie chili and they are all delicious. passionfruit margaritas are also a must. be warned, jjj the waiter will put a sombrero on them and give them a shot tequilla! the walls are also highly recommended with diners' botages from all over the world to bring a sketch to write some pro-vegan messages, as I wish I had!

Vegan burrito was tasty and filling. Tortilla with stuffing (beans and vegetables) and baked potatoes. Fijatas with seitan em smaller, also good. 11,50 EUR /dishes

We saw this gem when looking through happy cow and stumbled on it trying to find a place to drink. We went just after it opened so it was pretty quiet. The server was very knowledgeable about the food and made us feel at ease. The food was really nice and was a decent portion size as well. I had the seitan option and my boyfriend had a mix of 3 tacos, chilli, mushroom and spinach and they were all really tasty. And yes they give you a shot of tequila for free at the end of the meal, which adds a little fun onto the end of the whole experience.

The food was decent, but our waiter was the biggest highlight, really friendly, welcoming and gave us little bottles of tequila. I assume they must do this for everyone, but a lovely gesture! Decor and atmosphere are brill

What a nice surprise to find this on Happy Cow. I've only ever visited this place once back in 2010 whilst staying in Faro for a night before returning to the UK......and what a great night it was. The place was full when we arrived at around 9pm so we arranged to come back at around 10pm. Even then we stilll had to wait a while for a seat but after a delicious Margarita or two we certainly didn't mind at all. This place is a total party zone with great food, fantastic atmosphere and enthusiastic staff who actually appear to enjoy being there. The traditional Mexican food was genuinely superb with excellent vegetarian and vegan choices. It was freshly made and memorably tasty. After the food, one of the staff sat with us and poured tequila shots straight from the bottle to have with slices of lemon and salt. As far as I remember this was all part of the formality and I can't honestly remember being charged for it as the bill was so reasonable. I tell you now, if I ever stay in Faro again I will definitely be going to Taco y Tequilla. Viva Mexico.

Bon service, choix végan et végé très délicieux, le choix végan avec Tempeh est extraordinaire ! Aller y ça vaux le coût et le coup ! Great service, food is amazing ! Perfect for vegan and vegetarien but the vegan fajitas are the best with some seitan !
