Restaurante O Pescador em Lagos

This was a return visit and eat different items from the menu. Each course, from starter to dessert was first class. Huge encouragement for continued support for a venue that maintains standards.

Both good average tourist food. Half bottle of excellent local red wine. Was offered local almond shot with lemon juice nice light digestive. Easy evening in this friendly small restaurant

excellent authentic Portuguese food at a reasonable price. the waiter was very friendly and spoke to us through the menu nice. I would recommend the otopus with sweet potato

that was an amazing experience. everything from eating to service was incredible. the muddles were the best I ever had. they made you feel like you were part of their family. I'll go back again and again!

The waiter was very nice and recommended all the right things. We had mussles, fish and lamb and everything was very nice.

Amazed by the quality of food and service from this restaurant. The night I went there were only two male servers as they were understaffed, however even though they were both very busy they were both very attentive and friendly, making you feel well looked...after. They even made a few jokes too, gave me their sangria recipe when I asked and gave us recommendations of other places to eat as we were not staying in Lagos but another part of the Algarve. The stingray pate for starter was so tasty, but the mains were even better. The king prawns were a generous portion and cooked perfectly (not over cooked) and the black scabbard fish was the most flavourful fish I have tasted on my whole trip. For dessert we had tiramisu and flan and they were big portions and tasted amazing too! Wish we had stayed longer in Lagos so that we could dine here again!

The restaurant was full, but we came back minutes later and it was worth the wait. The starters we wanted were not available, but that can happen. We tasted a great gin and tonic (one Portuguese gin). The cataplana was also excellent.
