Look no further! 5 stars all the way from the entrees (must try the cheese), main course (Cod fish "house style" ; tropical mixed grills) to the desert (Profiteroles with chocolate mousse). The recommended red wine was top notch! Will return for sure!
Very nice restaurant, the meat was absolutely stunning! Only drawback: it was very hot inside, which was a bit unpleasant. But other than that: flawless.
My husband and I just enjoyed an authentic Portuguese meal. We shared the octopus skewers and a tropical salad with a lovely bottle of Monte Velho wine. There was an abundance of food even though we only ordered a single skewer! We highly recommend this beautiful place with delicious food!
I visit family in Sever do Vouga every year and this is the first place I go to eat. The best food you'll find in the country. Quiet place, authentic, great wine, huge menu, and great view of the river outside.

we came here, as recommended by the owner of our house. it was a good thing that he reserved us because it was very busy. the ambiente is pleasant and rustic. we had to start charcuterie, followed by a black-eye, and grilled otopus for me....Dessert was the home made Blueberry ice, and we had a karaffe local wein. all came to 55 euro, great value. our waitress was very helpful and spoke to us in excellent English, our Portuguese is not good. we visited again before we left the opposite and had another very good lunch.
as family of five, we ate 4x espetada do barco and 1 bife de casa. a bottle vinho verde and 2 beer and 7 up. the meat was great. Very good. all together including appetizers and espresso as sobremesa under €80,
aqui com a família de 7 restaurantes foi absolutamente fantástico. o cardápio era em português, mas a garçonete foi extremamente prestativa na tradução de todos os pratos para nós. a comida era deliciosa e as porções eram enormes! o pavilhão que é local também estava delicioso. com bebidas e duas maldições custava cerca de 20 euros que uma cabeça não poderia recomendar o suficiente!
