Unassuming yet sophisticated. The meat is great, the decor is too. Desserts are particularly innovative.
Lovely little restaurant with a good selection of local food. Pork and fish were particularly good. Service and value were excellent. If you are not familiar with Portuguese "cabbage soup", it is well worth a try; very tasty and good value; much better than the name suggests!
We went for diner to this restaurant while staying in the pousada nearby. Although the place was really simple, we had one of our better meals in Portugal for an incredibly low price. Real food, fresh, quick and very accessible. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
This is a typical Portuguese restaurant, not for tourists (even if they’re welcomed) but for Portuguese who love food. Good fish and meat, good food quality, a little bit noisy, difficult to park, difficult to reach (you will need a GPS on the first time) but once you discover it you need to return back. Is definitely a very good choice for a tasteful meal
WOW! Another surprisingly good local neighbourhood restaurant in Queluz! Remember standing outside their door, waiting to get in. People kept coming in after we got seated. Four of us for dinner came to just 50.25 Euro!! Really good service too from our young male server.
A bit noisy, but totally worth the hassle. Great grilled fishes, good and friendly service, can't really beat this for value in the neighborhood.
We went as a group (8) on a Sunday, without booking as it was early, which resulted in a considerable waiting time...The kitchen service was amazing. The place was packed full and yet just 10 min after sitting and ordering we were starting to eat. This is outstanding kitchen service let me tell you!The food was good affordable, typical Portuguese dishes, in a lively and loud atmosphere, tiles on the wall, kids running around, etc.Service was also quite nice, though I have no idea about their language skills.There is a free parking lot just 100m down the street.This is also conveniently located near the Palacio de Queluz and its gardens, a must see in the region.All in all, a good mid range place for a family gathering over the weekend.
Went in this restaurant without any expectations. We choose pescadinha de rabo na boca com arroz branco and carne de porco à alentejana. The fish was very fresh and well cooked and the rice warm and really tasty. The porc meat was very well cooked with a brilliant sauce and the fries we're hot and fresh made really good food. The people we're very nice and always asking if we got everything that we wish. A place to return without a doubt.
