Sal Tal em Lagoa

I had dinner at Sal&Tal and I have to say the setting, the decoration and the staff attention to us was very good. I have to really highlight the staff, they were wonderful. It was amazing that they serve warm bread on their couvert. The grilled cheese was really good. When it comes to the main courses the food becomes just average, the proteins that we had (octopus and chicken) were average and the rice is nothing to die for. The sweet potato was again really good. So to summarize most aspects are positive but can’t rate higher due to the main courses being disappointing.

We usually do not have dinner at hotel restaurants. However, we were very pleased when we decided to dine at Sal e Tal. The Portuguese dishes we tried we very tasty. We never get the “couvert”, but you really should get it. The warm breads are delicious. Get on your car and drive to the Pestana. The restaurant is well worth the drive in a area of crappy touristy restaurants.

what a great experience eat and atmosphere. we went first served after the reviews about eating, but it happened on a Wednesday when they have live music. the kerl on the stage was fantastic, played a really good variety of music, was a...big musician, he did not overplay the real reason we were there eating! the best wein wein in carvoeiro. we had the merlot who was able and served by the parade. we had the chicken and Portuguese steak that was delicious. we followed him with cheesecake and apple crumbs. we booked so well for the following night, which was the last night of our holiday. we decided to try something else from the menu. I had tomato soup, followed by lamb hacking, my wife camenbert cheese followed by black pork. we shared the apfelsturm this time. if you want a bit of a culinary experience, you give sal and tal a walk. superb!

beautiful date night with my wife with very good food, friendly service and beautiful wine. I had fish soup and my wife to start the garnels and both appetizers were delicious. for the net had my wife seebarsch and I had black pork which were again very good in the did. dessert was a bit of a swallow down, since the apfelbrecher of my wife was warm outside, but cold in the middle and even a bit of glacial, which was not good and closes microwebs? the dessert menu was also very limited. overall we were very satisfied with the meal and would return again.
