Tapas no Bucho em Lagoa

Wonderful dinner in Lagoa at Tapas no Bucho, family runned innovative tapas restaurant. Nice food made with passion and quality ingredients by a young chef, kindly served and suggested by her boyfriend and mother-in-law. Highly recommended! Sorry to not have a similar restaurant in my city

If you are looking for a refined and nice lunch, the family owners of the Tapas no Bucho will welcome you with a large smile and several languages. You will be able to enjoy the different recipes prepared by the daughter and served by the mother. Light, Original, and pleasant moment. This restaurant is originally a wine cellar, so take the opportunity to get advice from he son and enjoy a glass of the local wine. Bon Appetit!

All the served foods were delicious and authentic. The owner of the restaurant ist very friendly and kind. She took time to explain us all the dishes and to have a small talk. If you are traveling around Algarve, you should definitely stop by for a dinner or maybe also for a lunch. Better to make a reservation first. By the way you can also buy wine and some home made jams there. For me this is the best restaurant in the Portimao region.

We stopped in for lunch and were disappointed. Nice staff. Don't try and drive to location as there is only street parking and there was none available nearby. We had the sardine bruschetta and the octopus salad. The bruschetta toast was so saturated with warm olive oil that it was near inedible. There was very small portion of the octopus salad and the butter with a side of bread toast was to much. The wine we selected was cold inexpensive and delightful

All of the tapas were explained by the woman from the bar, we were very well adviced. The service was very very nice. I strongly recommend!

We were recommended this lovely tapas place by the lady at the Quinta dos Vales. It was one of her favourites, she said. And now it is one of ours!Family run, friendly and efficient, and tasty tapas. We had the cheese board, the sardine bruschetta and the eggs (scrambled) and asparragus. And a bottle of nice white to go with it.We will certainly come back to retaste and try some new ones.Aparts from the restaurant service, they have several local wines and other products for sale.They played great jazz with flute solos by the sister of the owner!And then the prices, just amazing.

Stumbled across this Tapas restaurant whilst exploring the town. It is a family run business, amazing food, service & has such a relaxing feel to it. Ended up coming 3 times and was the highlight of the trip. Each staff member had an area/job and they excelled at it. You can pick you own bottle of wine to go with your food from there massive collection & the sangria is lovely. A must visit!
