clean room, good service with the owner before location and, most important, amazing fresh seafood. taste the mush, the mush or the seabass. also good desert.

the house cataplana here is simply fantastic. we were twice before and always enjoyed it. it is a small restaurant with a busy atmosphere. simple, clean decor and attentive staff. we're coming back.

this is a small street side restaurant in old portimão. they can now also sit outside as they added a small terrace on the narrow cobblestone street. there is a real local feeling when they sit outside. they are known for their cataplanas and...Seafood stews. it's as fresh as it gets.

very quiet visit during this time. Mom and Pop-Art. has a small terrace on the street. for dinner, her humble reviewer was drawn to the fried babysquid, served with chips (fries) and salat. very nice. fresh and well cooked, immediately...serves a pleasant carafe of the house white supplement. then I was forced for this first day in the algarve to choose the regional dessert, a piece of teer with cowards, mangles and carob. beautiful and dense and sticky as I like it.

Fantastic service. Fantastic food!!! I guess Covid pandemia slowed down the flow of tourists and they are gratefull for every customer. Today is day since borders are open, only locals here, but the feeling is so home like and the food was simply melting...in mouth and excelent!!!

Ziza is a great little side street eatery that serves a lovely selection of freshly prepared Portuguese and European food. The Cataplana is especially good. However, if service with a smile' is something you're looking for go elsewhere. Our waitress viewed us with disdain and...seemed to overlook the fact that without our custom she would be out of a job. Never mind, it made the bill a bit a cheaper as we felt no guilt of leaving no tip

We found this little place hidden away a bit after we had dinner, so we couldn't eat all the things we wanted to try. A good reason to come back the next day, though We really liked everything we tried and we just loved...the little carrot slices they serve as an appetiser. The second day we walked in and they told us that the carrots were finished.. But, the owners made us some really quick, so cute! The food here was very nice, they have nice wines and all that with a nice smile and amazing service! Thank you Ziza, we loved it

Ziza excelled themselves on Tuesday October. We arrived at just after already there were a number of tables taken and places set up for a party of diners. As ever the service was courteous and our fumbling grasp of portugese was greeted with...kindness and corrections. We ordered the Polvo Cataplano for We had a bear and bottle of water alongside delicious olives, carrots and garlic to see through the wait. We watched as exquisite plate loads of food were delivered around us. Noisy tables turned quiet as they tucked in. Our meal arrived and just looked superb.....it was. It was the most delicious meal we have had in many a year. We have never had a bad nor mediocre meal at Ziza. This however exceed the previous best. Great people.
