we went here after some reviews and we had a very good experience as we had a second time back to try other options of the menu. eating is really delicious, very different options and the host is always available to...help them to explain every menu item. they also find a great choice of going to cry. recommend a visit!

the waiters use the technique to cover the table with starters that they did not order. that means they have to say that they take away the things after they have all breathed on the courts and it also means that they have no idea how much they will pay for each starter. we only paid 25 euro for two people. this is not usual in this level of restaurants in portugal. Unfortunately, the brot was also a bit stony and a disc was even spattery. except that eating was good and we were offered a small local drink at the end of the meal.

that's really a mountain home as soon as they go in. it is a well furnished and cozy room. it invites them to stay one. we choose to eat some tapas and get a taste of different dressed and it was. no bad call. everything tasted really good. we had a family meal with a small child and found no problem with a reasonable meal for him. the personal was always very friendly and attentive. I would really recommend a reservation, especially because there have been fewer tables available because of the kovid security rules and there has always been someone coming to find a table. the best way to come here is with the car. there are free parking at the restaurant. about the security measures of covid I felt that each of them was applied and I felt completely safe.

The food was really good and the staff was even better! The waiter speak really good English and was really helpful. We had a wonderful time! I strongly recommend it!

What an amazing find. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough to help, the owner speaks very good English and so could advise us of the menu options. I was worried that as a vegetarian I may struggle but I informed the owner...(who is also head chef) and I let him put a tapas selection together for me. My partner opted for the flamed chorizo cooked in alcohol and we then shared a green salad and bruschetta along with potatoes. The food was the best of our 2 week road trip. Please take the time to visit, you will not be disappointed.

The food is very tasty and fine. You get excellent bread with garlic butter and fine olives ... good wine... and very special food made with local fresh ingredients. But it's rather expencive, if you pay this price the portion should be bigger. I'm not...a volume-eater at all, but was hungry after leaving this place, what is a rare thing in Portugal. Pay attention: the fries are really chips, as mentioned on the menu (so not French Fries). The taste is super after all.

Near to torre Serra Estrela we stop to grap a light meal. The food was great and the staff was very nice. The price is average. The view is great
