the service was somewhat slow, but they are very friendly for tourist. we paid about 8 eur each for a francesnha xl and a drink. nice taste and we were very surprised how good the frits(chips) were! from cut kartoffeln. a xl can be divided among two people! and they were nice enough to cut it for us into two and put it in separate plates the mood of the place looks due to all wine bottles quite high at the driveway, but it will quickly become quite secret and gives a very vintage diner feeling.

Diu Cafe Restaurant is a must visit if you want to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner in Porto. The proximity to Carolina Michaelis station is a plus, but that's not all. The plus point of the restaurant is fresh ingredients, salmon, cod, squid, other fish when grilled or processed according to the chef's own recipe are satisfied customers. Occasionally hear cheerful sounds of Diners when your favorite football game is on TV. To ensure a table, you should book in advance or go earlier.

For this kind of restaurant (cervejaria/marisqueira) the food was really good and the service was even better. Although the restaurant was super busy, you are still served quite quickly and you have plenty of space between tables. We had Francesinha and Oktopus, both really well cooked. Prices are fair, not cheap, not expensive, just right.
