excellent choice of weeping cheap with cheese / ham.. they sit outside in the sun and relax.
on lonely steps we enjoyed a beautiful green wein from the north portugals and some tapas. my host was very well known and interesting and made us feel very special. taste just a few great wein, tapas and chat away some nice time together. I've been stumbled over this tremendous, but so glad we did. stop them, they will enjoy it.
this place is beautiful. the lady who served us was very well known about wein and we enjoyed a beautiful bottle and the tapas. We live in italy so that unfortunately the tapas they served were nothing special to us, but it was good. we were surprised. the tapas were the same price as the bottle wein. the food and the wine were great, but eating was too expensive.
in this little weinbar they have sat a few nice hours. we chose the red wine tasting with tapas, which was excellent. marco and his coworkers were knowledgeable and welcomed us very much. great way to taste local Portuguese weine. there was given a free glass moscatel, which was also delicious. only near taxis in alvor.
Came here for a glass of wine before dinner. The young waitress was very friendly and helpful. Also very knowledgeable about the wines. Me Julie had a green wine which was actually very good and I'd a lovely white. Large measure too.
Called in for a pre dinner drink ,very small place . Young lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. Tried the Sauvignon Blanc absolutely gorgeous,price about the same as most bars. Found out it is owned by the same person as The Gumtree...and the Central Cafe. Had a meal at The Gumtree had the same wine over €10 more per bottle at just under €30 seemed a bit extreme.
We come here every time we visit Alvor. Fantastic wine, fantastic food (the cheeses and meats are beyond description and the marmalade is the best we’ve experienced anywhere in the world). The staff are spot-on. Very knowledgeable and friendly. If you like wine and food...this place is an absolute must.
Wine was amazing, we went for Red and explained to the waiter which reds we usually like and we sampled a glass which was lovely. She was very helpful and lovely. We also had some sharing boards to eat which were fab. Love this place,...can't wait to go back!
