I don't give out five stars. This restaurant gets one: the freshest of snapper and octopus (both on display in their fabulous display) were cooked perfectly on the grill and served with fresh vegetables and rice and frites. We had flan (homemade) for dessert- it was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Very tasty food and big servings. Pro: The black scabbardfish! Eat fish here. It is on point! Con: The potatoe cubes. They taste.... suboptimal Apart from that: all wishes fulfilled!
Very delicious food, we had the tuna salad with the house garlic bread and especially the tuna steak with fries and vegetables was amazing!
We went to Calamar after it's been recommended and we couldn't be happier with the decision. We had amazing octopus for starters and mista de marisco as the main dish. The food was incredibly tasty and the portions were really well served (we couldn't eat everything)! Really nice staff and a cool environment with sea view. A must visist.
Both the beef steak Calamar style and the fish and calamari dish were absolutely amazing. Very flavorsome. We also shared half a portion of the octopus (the house recipe) for starters and that was very, very tasty as well
Nice Madeira dishes and delicious desserts. The passionfruit pudding is absolutely the best.
Good food and view, our server was the worst we had in Madeira. Had a fly fall in my wine he took my glass brought back an empty glass another had hair in her salad. He never came back another finish his job.
Excellent food and friendly staff. The espada (scabbard fish) with chips and salad was the best we had during our month stay in Madeira.
