Reitoria em Porto

reitoria is a super cozy weinbar in the old town of porto and it is the perfect place for tapas style snacking with a great selection of local weeps. they are too proud of their foccaccias and also have many Portuguese specialties on the menu, including the french french fries with eggs and mushrooms, a combination that tastes much better than it sounds.

we were recommended this place by a friend and it was not disappointed! we had two beautiful focaccias and a Caesar salad. everything was beautiful. a nice lunch while sat in the winter sun. the food was fresh and was not waiting long.

very good experience. we went to reitoria especially for the matured meat and it was in the did a very good meal of the service was perfect. the dame in the 1st floor service is very professional and a very nice person that I woul just reduce the music sound a bit. I think it's too loud, but it's a very personal opinion thank you.

very nice place in the center of the city. great eating, beautiful interieur, nice people. I recommend this place, especially for a night outside!

we asked for a medium-sized rare steak, it came very well done, and the worker wouldn't take it, say it was medium-sized as I was drunk water to soften the hard €50 sole in my mouth. we asked for sangria, they took the glasser away from the table, which would be good if they were to watch our glasses, we had to ask at least 3 times for our drinks. at the end they contain a 5% tap on the check, and say it is optional, but they feel obliged to pay it. they offered a gloomy to pick up for the terrible steak I left on the teller.

eating was okay, but I thought it was better based on other reviews. most disappointed in service. there was little help in understanding the various cuts of bark, and zero aid on the wine menu. in general, if they ask for a recommendation, they receive one. nothing that is offered besides the note on the obvious. the charcuterie was beautiful and probably the highlight of the meal. and the focaccia. bark meat was well cooked and tasteful. the seasonal vegetables were inspiring, as well as the fries. it was not a bad meal, just a little disappointing.

The steak at Reitoria was amazing! We had the 400g Ribeye steak and it was soooooo tasty! The Salmon starter and the pickles were sublime, as well as the light fluffy focaccia. This place is an incredible restaurant with impeccable service and so inexpensive! A must for any tapas and steak lovers!

Great place for amazing steaks! Also have good charcuteries.
