Izzy's Market Vegetarian Boutique em Vila Do Bispo

We were very happy to see a vegetarian/vegan restaurant near Sagres. The restaurant was built with a lot of attention to detail, and the same goes for the food. You could see that a lot of effort and love has been put into this place. The food itself was good, but not outstanding. Very good value for money. The downside was that one of the waiters, a year old woman, was quite rude and unfriendly. We did not feel very welcome by her and she rolled her eyes on some very basic questions.

Very nice food and products, sadly every time we go it's like the ladies don't want to attend young customers or I don't know really. We felt very uncomfortable because it's not nice to feel that we bother workers just because we like to buy our food there, and we have seen the same to others customers, but it's like they don't realize or feel embarrassed... Just once I asked a simple question and I received an answer that made me prefer to just go, buy and leave soon. We are living here so we don't have many options to eat out, we do it once a week or each weeks, always hoping that we will enjoy it‍ I also worked in restaurants and shops, in quite more demanding places, I think if someone doesn't like to work with people, specially if they offer food, it's better to give the chance to someone that does, the energy and the environment is important, the place is beautiful, so these things just don't match with the concept at all. All the rest just so delicious and cosy.

I don't give five stars simply and in the rule only out the best restaurants, but this deserves it for as many reasons as follows. eating is very tasty, beautifully presented and vegan also, but they really do not miss the animal products at all. we had a hamburger (vegan) and pommes with a vegan hamburger bake and a vegan burrito. the vegan chocolate mousse is great, but the vegan crème brûlée is not as rich as a with cream, but it is so good that they have to try it! the service is very friendly and prompt. the restaurant is not a waste place, the only things we had to dispose of were paper napkins. Delicious, homemade, flavoured waters are available free of charge. the coffee is also great with vegan kit. it was quite busy, filled with all the tables also on a cool day, but it is worth waiting. they follow the COVID regulations that I personally appreciate. all in all good food, great service, vegan, no waste even if they are not vegetarian or vegan (I am not, but always there) and they are in vila do bispo, they should give this place a try. they will not be disappointed. highly recommended.

we came a little after 10 o'clock, the best time is, but after 2 minutes was a table for our little family free. our 2 year old started playing in the game kitchen and we ordered pancakes, avocado toast and croissants and of course coffee. everything tasted beautiful and we were just so happy to be there. we also got vegan pastel de nata (they told us everything is vegan there) before we left dessert as an breakfast.

came a second time after the daily menu for eating again. great concept with a business and restaurant in one. try the chocolate mouse.

what a nice full vegan place with an excellent menu that it does not bankrupt. it is the type of place that has perfected menu recipes and has not found it at a place that has 1-2 dishes for vegans. Nevertheless it has a descent into the earthly atmosphere and has attached a beautiful load to it.

Arrived and pleased with what we saw. Vegan mini market and nice wooden diner seating for lunch. Super friendly staff checked out our vaccine status and talked us through the menu.
