It was really delicious. And the waiters were really nice. We were in September at there. Then the food came really fast because it was quite empty.

With a limited menu and the freshest ingredients this little restaurant produces the tastiest food. Honesty is the catchword. Expect a little lecture from the waiter, listen carefully and choose well you will not be disappointed. Most of the vegetables are grown and harvested by the chef. It is a family run restaurant that deserves to thrive. The chef is from Shanghai.

We were craving Chinese food for New Year’s Eve and came across this restaurant. Opened by a very lovely and hospitable Chinese family, with delicious plates. Highly recommend!
Excellent food and friendly staff Food was very good. Service was friendly but very slow…not really organised too well. I let them know so hopefully they can get the service improved and consistent. Bottom line we’ll return for sure as good food for reasonable price.

Visited this restaurant twice during our stay. The only disappointment is that it is in Funchal and not in my home town otherwise I would probably visit every week! The food is exquisite simple but so darn tasty. The restaurant is owned and run by a couple from Shanghai plus a waiter and assistant. Daniel the waiter is a credit to the business and such good fun. Situated in the Lido area it is a must visit place if you love Chinese food certainly worthy of a taxi fare!
