I just popped in for a beer… and stayed for three as they were so nice and cold and the service was wonderful!! Honestly, I found it a bit pricey for cocktails but the ambience is fantastic so it made it worth it. I had already had dinner so didn’t eat, but everything coming out around me smelled wonderful and was being enjoyed by other diners.

Nice old English pub. Nice environment. Nice food. Good drinks. One of the good places to go in Funchal. It is close to casino.

not very friendly got shouted at because I forgot to put my mask on by who assume was head waiter , after putting my mask on i asked him if he wanted to see our covid pass which all restaurants bars etc are suppose to check but was told he was not interested in that! So it seems you allowed in with covid! but don't get up with out your mask or you will be shouted at, apart from that it is a lovely pub with good food.

excellent eating, I slap the lamb, very tasty and good portions. large selection of beer and menu varies. they decide very interesting and worth visiting when they are in funchal.

we have a little late for lunch and a little early for dinner. space was almost empty. Eating was okay. service was poor. our server was too busy to help a handy man out with lights or something to pay attention to us and the bartender was busy doing something. Eat was ok. all and all, no great experience and I wouldn't go back.

we have the set package with pickup and drop-off in the convertible beetle. very recommended, as it was super unforgettable to be driven by funchal in the car for a very cheap price. the set menu had a lot of options and came with all the wine they can drink. the staff was very attentive (sp. the driver who picked us up). that is a must in funchal.

Off the beaten track, but really worth discovering, and just a seven minute walk from The Casino, the Morgadinha offers a truly memorable dining experience.The amazingly talented year old chef de cuisine Felipe, ably supported by his co chef, Dora, and working in close harmony with the skilled maitre d', also named Felipe, produce dishes to delight the eye and stimulate the taste buds.The Valentine's night dinner was certainly the finest meal we have ever enjoyed, anywhere.Four superb courses, each matched with a truly special Portuguese wine, were truly sensational. I chose turbot on a bed of beetroot risotto trimmed with asparagusas my main course, my wife went for the meat option, a beautifully cooked veal fillet matched with cauliflower gratin. The wine choice was either fine white, or red Douro. Both were wonderful.The amuse bouche was a delight and paired with a glorious sparkling rose, the starter was crab ravioli in crispy seaweed, matched with a crispy green wine, the pudding a delightfully original yoghurt confection and came with a very elegant gin based cocktail.The waiting staff here are also very accomplished, and add so much to the evening.

Eu gosto do lugar, bom serviço útil, comer muito saboroso, servindo com souce maracuja e até mesmo pequenas flores. muito boa experiência, eu gosto. a proporção era grande o suficiente e o preço era 14,9 € eu recomendo o restaurante.
